The US is set to impose a 50% tariff on copper imports starting 1 August  - a move that has already sent shockwaves through global metals markets. As copper is a critical input for construction, electronics, and clean energy, the implications for inflation, trade flows, and industrial strategy are profound.

Join us for a live webinar, which comes just two days before the tariffs are set to come into effect, for a discussion with Ewa Manthey and James Knightley as we explore:

  • How the tariff will reshape global copper trade and pricing

  • Whether the tariff will drive investment in new US mining projects

  • The inflationary spillovers and risks to US growth
